OTTAWA — A pilot project for an east-west segregated bike lane across downtown initially planned for this summer, will be delayed until fall, to allow more time for public consultation.
The transportation committee passed a motion by Somerset councillor Diane Holmes Wednesday to immediately set up a public advisory panel to study a possible east-west segregated bike route. Four public meetings will also be held.
